Accessibility Statement (ADA Notice)
Clairmont County is committed to ensuring that its programs, services, and activities, including this website, are accessible to persons with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Website Accessibility
This website is designed to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA where practicable. Measures in place include a “skip to main content” link, descriptive alternative text on images, data tables with header markup, resizable text, and a print stylesheet. Some older documents posted before 2018 may not be fully accessible; the county will provide the content of any such document in an alternative format upon request.
Requesting an Accommodation
Persons who require an auxiliary aid or service to participate in a county program, service, or public meeting — or who need website content in an alternative format — should contact the county’s ADA Coordinator:
ADA Coordinator, Office of the Board of County Commissioners
100 Public Square, Marbury, OH 45771
Phone: (740) 555-4601 • Ohio Relay: 7-1-1
Email: ada@clairmontcounty.org
Requests should be made at least 48 hours before a scheduled meeting or event so that arrangements can be made.
Grievance Procedure
Complaints alleging discrimination on the basis of disability may be filed with the ADA Coordinator in writing within 60 calendar days of the alleged violation. The county will respond within 15 business days. A copy of the full grievance procedure, adopted under Res. 2012-091, is available from the Commissioners’ Clerk and at each county office.
