Welcome to Clairmont County, Ohio

Clairmont County was organized in 1818 from portions of Washington and Gallia counties and is home to approximately 34,000 residents across twelve townships and five incorporated villages. The county seat is Marbury. County government provides services ranging from road and bridge maintenance to public health, elections, property taxation, human services, and the courts.
