How to Request Other Records

Requests may be made to the office that keeps the record — in person, by phone, by mail, or by email. Requests do not need to be in writing, and you are not required to give your name or the reason for your request; however, a written request with specifics helps us respond faster. Response Time

Records are provided promptly; copies are provided within a reasonable period of time. Large or complex requests may be fulfilled in installments. Some records are exempt from release by statute (for example, certain security records and personal information of protected individuals); where a record contains exempt material, the exempt portions are redacted and the remainder released.

The county’s full public records policy, adopted under Res. 2019-014, is posted at each office and available from the Commissioners’ Clerk.
