Records are provided promptly; copies are provided within a reasonable period of time. Large or complex requests may be fulfilled in installments. Some records are exempt from release by statute (for example, certain security records and personal information of protected individuals); where a record contains exempt material, the exempt portions are redacted and the remainder released.
The county’s full public records policy, adopted under Res. 2019-014, is posted at each office and available from the Commissioners’ Clerk.
