Position Summary
The County Auditor's Real Estate division is hiring a Deputy Auditor to maintain property records, process conveyances, and assist the public with property valuation questions.
Essential Duties
- Processes deed transfers and updates ownership records in the county's real property system.
- Assists taxpayers at the counter and by phone with valuation, homestead, and CAUV questions.
- Prepares splits, combinations, and address changes for parcels.
- Supports the sexennial reappraisal and triennial update processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Civil service examination required.
- Strong attention to detail and public counter experience preferred.
- Background check required prior to appointment.
