Board of County Commissioners — Minutes

Regular session of January 6, 2025, 10:00 AM, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 100 Public Square, Marbury, Ohio.
Present: Commissioners R. Ellsworth (President), D. Franks, M. Coyle; J. Whipple, Clerk.

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM with the Pledge of Allegiance. The following business was transacted:

1. Organizational meeting: elected Roger Ellsworth as Board President for calendar year 2025.
2. Res. 2025-001: Adopted the 2025 rules of order and regular meeting schedule.
3. Res. 2025-002: Designated the Marbury Banner-Record as the county's official newspaper of record for 2025.
4. Approved payment of bills totaling $203,556.83.
5. Reappointed Janet Whipple as Clerk / Administrator to the Board.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. The foregoing minutes were approved at a subsequent regular session and entered into the Commissioners’ Journal.
