Board of County Commissioners — Minutes

Regular session of October 20, 2025, 10:00 AM, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 100 Public Square, Marbury, Ohio.
Present: Commissioners R. Ellsworth (President), D. Franks, M. Coyle; J. Whipple, Clerk.

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM with the Pledge of Allegiance. The following business was transacted:

1. Approved payment of bills totaling $274,930.53.
2. Res. 2025-076: Awarded the courthouse boiler replacement contract to Buckeye Mechanical Contractors, low bid $187,400.00.
3. Approved the dog warden's September report: 34 dogs impounded, 29 redeemed or adopted, 1 euthanized per veterinary recommendation.
4. Executive session (ORC 121.22(G)(3)) re: pending litigation, 10:40 AM to 11:15 AM. No action taken.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. The foregoing minutes were approved at a subsequent regular session and entered into the Commissioners’ Journal.
