Board of County Commissioners — Minutes

Regular session of February 2, 2026, 10:00 AM, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 100 Public Square, Marbury, Ohio.
Present: Commissioners R. Ellsworth (President), D. Franks, M. Coyle; J. Whipple, Clerk.

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM with the Pledge of Allegiance. The following business was transacted:

1. Res. 2026-018: Approved the 2026 appropriations measure as certified by the Budget Commission.
2. Res. 2026-019: Authorized the Auditor to advertise for bids for county printing and publication services for 2026.
3. Approved payment of bills totaling $410,558.47.
4. Approved the dog warden's January report: 31 dogs impounded, 24 redeemed or adopted, 2 transferred to rescue.
5. Executive session (ORC 121.22(G)(3)) re: pending litigation, 10:35 AM to 11:00 AM. No action taken.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. The foregoing minutes were approved at a subsequent regular session and entered into the Commissioners’ Journal.
