Board of County Commissioners — Minutes

Regular session of March 2, 2026, 10:00 AM, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 100 Public Square, Marbury, Ohio.
Present: Commissioners R. Ellsworth (President), D. Franks, M. Coyle; J. Whipple, Clerk.

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM with the Pledge of Allegiance. The following business was transacted:

1. Approved payment of bills totaling $345,927.63 as presented by the County Auditor.
2. Res. 2026-038: Awarded the annual liquid asphalt supply contract to Marbury Petroleum Products Inc., low bid $2.14 per gallon delivered.
3. Res. 2026-039: Reappointed two members to the Clairmont County Agricultural Society (fair board) for three-year terms.
4. Approved the dog warden's February report: 22 dogs impounded, 19 redeemed or adopted.
5. Executive session (ORC 121.22(G)(1)) re: personnel, 11:05 AM to 11:30 AM. No action taken.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. The foregoing minutes were approved at a subsequent regular session and entered into the Commissioners’ Journal.
