Board of County Commissioners — Minutes

Regular session of May 4, 2026, 10:00 AM, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 100 Public Square, Marbury, Ohio.
Present: Commissioners R. Ellsworth (President), D. Franks, M. Coyle; J. Whipple, Clerk.

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM with the Pledge of Allegiance. The following business was transacted:

1. Approved payment of bills totaling $377,190.02.
2. Res. 2026-066: Entered into a contract with Tri-State Appraisal Group for the 2026 sexennial reappraisal field review, per the Auditor's recommendation.
3. Accepted the resignation of one full-time corrections officer, effective May 15.
4. Approved a fireworks exhibition permit for the Marbury Independence Celebration, July 4, contingent on fire chief approval.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. The foregoing minutes were approved at a subsequent regular session and entered into the Commissioners’ Journal.
