Board of County Commissioners — Minutes

Regular session of May 18, 2026, 10:00 AM, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 100 Public Square, Marbury, Ohio.
Present: Commissioners R. Ellsworth (President), D. Franks, M. Coyle; J. Whipple, Clerk.

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM with the Pledge of Allegiance. The following business was transacted:

1. Res. 2026-072: Authorized submission of a CDBG Critical Infrastructure application for waterline replacement on Mill St, Village of Averill.
2. Res. 2026-073: Reappointed two members to the Clairmont County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
3. Approved the dog warden's April report: 41 dogs impounded, 28 redeemed or adopted.
4. Set a public hearing for May 19, 2026, 10:00 AM, on amendments to the Flood Damage Prevention Regulations.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. The foregoing minutes were approved at a subsequent regular session and entered into the Commissioners’ Journal.
