Board of County Commissioners — Minutes

Regular session of June 1, 2026, 10:00 AM, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 100 Public Square, Marbury, Ohio.
Present: Commissioners R. Ellsworth (President), D. Franks, M. Coyle; J. Whipple, Clerk.

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM with the Pledge of Allegiance. The following business was transacted:

1. Proclamation: declared June 2026 as Dairy Month in Clairmont County.
2. Res. 2026-079: Accepted the 2025 GAAP-basis financial statements as prepared by the Auditor of State's local government services section.
3. Approved a road use maintenance agreement with Meridian Wind LLC for heavy hauling on County Roads 14 and 27.
4. Heard citizen comment from three residents of Deer Run Ln regarding drainage; referred to the County Engineer.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. The foregoing minutes were approved at a subsequent regular session and entered into the Commissioners’ Journal.
