Board of County Commissioners — Minutes

Regular session of June 15, 2026, 10:00 AM, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 100 Public Square, Marbury, Ohio.
Present: Commissioners R. Ellsworth (President), D. Franks, M. Coyle; J. Whipple, Clerk.

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM with the Pledge of Allegiance. The following business was transacted:

1. Res. 2026-084: Adopted the fiscal year 2027 tax budget (3-0) and directed the Clerk to certify it to the County Budget Commission per ORC 5705.28.
2. Res. 2026-085: Approved a then-and-now certificate for invoices of Holt Springs Gravel Co. in the amount of $9,212.50.
3. Opened and tabled bids for the fairgrounds grandstand electrical upgrade pending review by the Building & Development Services Department.
4. Executive session (ORC 121.22(G)(1)) re: personnel, 11:14 AM to 11:52 AM. No action taken.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. The foregoing minutes were approved at a subsequent regular session and entered into the Commissioners’ Journal.
