Board of County Commissioners — Minutes

Regular session of June 30, 2026, 10:00 AM, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 100 Public Square, Marbury, Ohio.
Present: Commissioners R. Ellsworth (President), D. Franks, M. Coyle; J. Whipple, Clerk.

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM with the Pledge of Allegiance. The following business was transacted:

1. Approved payment of bills totaling $412,806.14 as presented by the County Auditor.
2. Res. 2026-088: Awarded the Township Road 210 bridge superstructure replacement to Scioto Bridge & Iron Co., low bid $618,440.00, contingent on OPWC concurrence.
3. Res. 2026-089: Authorized the Engineer to purchase one tandem-axle dump truck through state term schedule 5100-0-26.
4. Heard a quarterly report from the Building & Development Services Director: 128 permits issued April-June, up 9% year over year; two plans examiner vacancies remain unfilled.
5. Approved minutes of the June 15 and June 22 regular sessions as corrected.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. The foregoing minutes were approved at a subsequent regular session and entered into the Commissioners’ Journal.
