Health District to hold drive-thru flu clinics in October
The Clairmont County General Health District will hold drive-thru flu vaccination clinics each Wednesday in October from 9:00 AM to noon in the parking lot of the Health District office, 720 N High St, Marbury. No appointment is necessary; most insurance plans, including Medicare Part B, are accepted, and a reduced self-pay rate is available.
Health Commissioner Dr. Ellen Kaufman encourages residents 65 and older and those with chronic health conditions to be vaccinated early in the season. Questions may be directed to the Health District at (740) 555-4660.
