CASA seeks volunteers; training begins in November
Clairmont County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), under the direction of Judge Karen Spivey, is recruiting volunteers to advocate for children in abuse and neglect cases. A 30-hour training course for new volunteers begins the first week of November at the Juvenile Court, 100 Public Square.
Volunteers must be at least 21 years old and pass a background check; no legal background is required. Anyone interested in serving as a CASA volunteer may contact the program coordinator through the Juvenile Court at (740) 555-4645.
