Dog warden to hold adoption open house November 15
County Dog Warden Chuck Mowery will hold an adoption open house Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the county animal shelter, 4211 Fairground Rd. Adoption fees will be waived for dogs that have been at the shelter longer than 60 days.
All adoptable dogs are current on vaccinations and will be spayed or neutered before release, as required by county policy. Residents unable to attend the open house may view available dogs by appointment; call the shelter at (740) 555-4681.
