Veterans service van announces new monthly schedule
Veterans Service Officer Earl Jividen has announced a new monthly schedule for the county's veterans transportation van, which carries veterans to VA medical appointments in Columbus and Chillicothe. Beginning in December, the van will run Tuesdays and Thursdays, with pickup points added in Averill and Holt Springs in addition to the courthouse square.
Veterans needing a ride must schedule at least five business days in advance through the Veterans Service Office, 100 Public Square, or by calling (740) 555-4685. Priority is given to appointments that cannot be rescheduled.
