Courthouse elevator modernization project to begin in December
The Board of County Commissioners has approved a project to modernize the courthouse's original passenger elevator, which has been in service since a 1978 renovation. Work is expected to begin in early December and take approximately ten weeks, during which the elevator will be out of service.
Visitors needing assistance reaching upper floors during construction should use the accessible entrance on the Court St side of the building, where staff will be available to help. Questions about the project may be directed to the Commissioners' office at (740) 555-4601.
