JFS HEAP winter crisis program now accepting applications
The Department of Job & Family Services, under Director Rebecca Stollings, is now accepting applications for the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) Winter Crisis Program, which provides one-time assistance to eligible households facing disconnection or without heating fuel. The program runs through March 31, 2026, or until state funding is exhausted.
Applicants must bring proof of income for all household members, a recent utility bill or disconnection notice, and photo identification. Appointments may be scheduled at the JFS office, 415 W Main St, Marbury, by calling (740) 555-4690.
