County offices closed for Christmas and New Year's holidays
Clairmont County offices will be closed Thursday, December 25, 2025 and Thursday, January 1, 2026 in observance of the Christmas and New Year's holidays. County offices will operate on a normal schedule on all other days during the holiday period.
Sheriff's dispatch, the county jail, and the Marbury Water Reclamation plant remain staffed around the clock. Residents needing to make a tax or utility payment during the closures may use the drop box outside the courthouse's Court St entrance.
