Auditor reminds landowners of March 2 CAUV renewal deadline
County Auditor Patricia Vandermeer reminds owners enrolled in the Current Agricultural Use Value (CAUV) program that renewal applications for tax year 2026 must be filed with the Auditor's office no later than Monday, March 2, 2026, under Ohio Revised Code 5713.31. Renewal forms were mailed to all currently enrolled parcels in January.
Landowners who did not receive a renewal form, or who have questions about eligibility following a change in ownership, should contact the Real Estate division at (740) 555-4631. Late filings may be accepted only upon a finding of good cause by the Auditor.
