Spring cleanup and tire collection day set for May 2
The annual countywide cleanup will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the county fairgrounds on Fairground Rd. County residents may dispose of up to ten passenger tires per household at no charge (proof of residency required). Electronics, appliances containing refrigerant, and household hazardous waste are also accepted.
The event is sponsored by the Board of Commissioners and the Joint Solid Waste District.
