Notice of Board Vacancy: Board of Developmental Disabilities
Notice is hereby given that two terms on the Clairmont County Board of Developmental Disabilities will expire in 2026, and the Board of County Commissioners is accepting letters of interest from county residents wishing to be considered for appointment. Ohio Revised Code 5126.022 requires that the board include at least one parent of a person with a developmental disability and at least one person with a developmental disability or an immediate family member thereof.
Letters of interest, including a brief statement of qualifications, should be directed to Janet Whipple, Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners, 100 Public Square, Marbury, Ohio 45771, no later than May 1, 2026. Appointments are expected to be made at a regular session of the Board following that date.
