Notice of Ditch Petition Hearing
Notice is hereby given that a petition has been filed with the Board of Clairmont County Commissioners, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Chapter 6131, for the improvement of the Coon Run Ditch in Salt Creek Township, together with such branches and laterals as may be necessary. The petition has been referred to the County Engineer, Harold Brannigan, P.E., P.S., as ditch engineer, for survey, plans, specifications, estimate of cost, and apportionment of benefits and damages.
A hearing on the petition will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Commissioners' Hearing Room, 100 Public Square, Marbury, Ohio. Owners of land within the proposed improvement and drainage area, as shown on the engineer's report on file with the Clerk, may appear and be heard on the necessity, feasibility, and estimated cost of the improvement, or file written objections prior to the hearing.
