Invitation to Bid: 2026 Guardrail Replacement Program
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 2026 GUARDRAIL REPLACEMENT PROGRAM will be received by the Clerk of the Board of Clairmont County Commissioners, 100 Public Square, Marbury, Ohio 45771, until 10:00 AM local time on Thursday, August 6, 2026, and publicly opened and read immediately thereafter in the Commissioners' Hearing Room.
The project provides for the removal and replacement of approximately 4,200 linear feet of guardrail and end treatments at various locations on the county highway system, as recommended by the County Engineer following the 2025 guardrail inventory. The work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the office of the County Engineer, Harold Brannigan, P.E., P.S.
Plans and specifications are on file for inspection at the office of the County Engineer and copies may be obtained there upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of $25.00 per set. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount and form required by Ohio law. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
