Invitation to Bid: Courthouse Boiler Replacement
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Clairmont County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the COURTHOUSE BOILER REPLACEMENT PROJECT at the office of the Clerk, 100 Public Square, Marbury, Ohio 45771, until 10:00 AM local time on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Commissioners' Hearing Room.
The work consists of removal of the existing courthouse boiler and appurtenances and furnishing and installing one replacement gas-fired boiler, associated piping, controls, and incidental work, all as more particularly described in the plans and specifications on file with the Clerk. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty as described in the specifications and by the bidder's affidavit and information required by the Ohio Revised Code.
Plans and specifications are on file for examination and may be obtained from the office of the Clerk, Janet Whipple, (740) 555-4601, upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of $35.00 per set. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
