Search property records online: ownership, appraised values, acreage, and taxing district for all 41,300 parcels are available through the Real Property Search. No login is required.

Parcel Numbers

Clairmont County parcel numbers take the form DD-MMM-LLLL — a two-digit taxing district, three-digit map number, and four-digit lot number, always written with leading zeros (for example, 03-104-0221). Your parcel number is printed in the upper left of your semi-annual tax bill. Parcel numbers are the most reliable way to research a property in the Real Property Search and in records maintained by other county offices.

2026 Sexennial Reappraisal

Ohio law requires reappraisal of all real property every six years. Tentative value notices were mailed in June 2026. Owners wishing to discuss a tentative value may schedule an informal review through this office before August 14, 2026; formal complaints are filed with the Board of Revision between January 1 and March 31, 2027.

Dog Licenses

Ohio law (ORC 955.01) requires every dog over three months of age to be licensed. Licenses are $16.00 per year and renew each December 1 through January 31 at the courthouse or at participating township offices and veterinary clinics.
